thanksgiving

isley didn't make it too far into dinner.

jack, and he wasn't feeling good. he is such a happy baby!

this year for thanksgiving, we all went out to george and mel's. i was feeling guilty all day on wednesday, because i wasn't worrying about thanksgiving, at all! donnie had to smoke the turkey, and all i had to take was a pie, the gravy, and some crackers and cheese. (well... me and marie made the most delicious coconut cream and peach pie that you have ever tasted!)

dinner was awesome, and as i was thinking about the things i am thankful for, first of all, i thought of my kids (that includes their spouses) and how awesome they are. they are so caring (and are actually too concerned with me and my health.) they are doing such a good job raising my grandchildren and teaching them about the gospel (a whole lot better than i did). i am grateful for my health, my donnie! - i love him more and more each day! for 7 of the cutest grandkids in the whole wide world! my family's health, my home, that my kids are happy, the for the freedoms that we have in this great country. i am thankful for the testimony that i have, that joseph smith at the young age of 14, saw and talked to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. the gospel is true!, families can be together forever! i am grateful that we have a living prophet, Thomas S Monson, on the earth today to lead us and guide us. i love him and there is no doubt in my mind that he is a true prophet! i have soo much to be thankful for , and i am grateful for this time of year when we can stop and reflect about and enjoy all of these wonderful things!

(i took my camera out to mel's to take pictures, but i guess i was too laid back and enjoying the grandkids, that i only took a few pictures, and only two turned out, and now you've seen them).

So sweet! Glad you guys had a good Thanksgiving. I'm so lame that I have to read about it on your blog. I can't believe Jack is 1!
