4th of July

what's the 4th of july, without watermelon?

we went down to our property for the 4th, but i didn't take many pictures. chet, tiff and the kids went with us. always something going on when ryker's around. he is always on the go! and always checking something out. one of the best things about being down there camping and having the kids down there with us is, the pitter-patter of little feet in the morning as they sneak into our trailer and come up to our bed to climb in bed with us! so fun to have them old enough to be able to just come over on their own and think they are so big. i love to be down there and be able to just spend time with them and not have to worry about anything else.

sunday morning, chet and tiff left early. we hung around for a while and finally decided to go on a four wheeler ride. godwin's came with us, and yes, craig once again was the leader ( i don't know why we never learn!) jillyne and her girls came, too. when we got over to birch creek, they wanted to wade through the water. don drove through and totally soaked them! good thing they are good sports!

it's always fun to get away and be able to just veg if we want to. and let me tell you , i did plenty of that this past weekend!
