saturday night we got to go to the "ogre mountain" temple openhouse. the only one we were missing from our family was cheyne. (someday, we will be more important than a rodeo). anyway, it was a great feeling inside the temple... looking around at our little family, and thinking, "this is what it is all about!" what a great thing to know that "families can be together forever!" but i know why little ones aren't allowed in the temples after they are dedicated. actually, kamryn was very reverent. kendyl was tired and said she had a headache and didn't want anyone to talk to her. siona let us know that we didn't know what we were talking about when we were at the baptismal font. she is getting baptised when she is 8 not when she is 12! (we were trying to tell her that when she turned 12, she could do baptisms for the dead at the temple). when we were in the sealing room, the temple worker was explaining to us, the purpose of the sealing room and i don't know what hunter heard, but all of the sudden he said, "but i don't want to die!". ryker ~ another story! he wanted to push his stroller not ride in it and he wanted to push the buttons on the elevator. isley was pretty good most of the time, but at the end, she got a little fussy (of course it was getting late).
after the temple, we went to 'famous dave's' for chicken and ribs. while we were waiting for a table, don and i headed back to the restroom. in a minute, mel and siona came into the women's restroom and mel asked me if i had ryker with me. i told her NO, just dad and i had come back. she said that ryker was missing. when i went back to the front to wait, i asked chet if he had found ryker. he said NO, i thought he went with you and dad. anyway to make a long story short, he HAD followed us, or just meandered himself back and went into the men's restroom. don was in one stall and seen urinal screens falling to the ground. he couldn't figure out WHAT was going on, then he seen 'THE SHOES'... RYKER'S SHOES !

don: "ryker, what are you doing?" and then his little head poked up under the stall and he said, "gammpa?"
don: you ARE in time out! go put your nose on the wall until i come out.
when don got out, he found that ryker had been playing and washing his hands in the urinals ~ he was having a GREAT time! GROSS!
