christmas day....

merry christmas to me! remember the antelope that i shot in september... well it's now hanging in our office. thanks to justin parduhn who did an awesome job mounting it!!

christmas morning we woke up and made the rounds to see what santa left for the kids.

first stop, was at jeff and haley's

then back home so that they could all come to our house for the rest of the afternoon/evening.

once again we had a very merry christmas. we are so very blessed! we are blessed to have all of our family so close, and we love spending time with them.

christmas eve...

christmas eve we got together and had dinner. dad smoked a brisket and chet smoked some ribs. we had a really nice dinner and enjoyed one anothers company. don had been really sick for a couple of days and didn't really get to enjoy most of the christmas holiday.

hunter family christmas party

since it was jeff and haley's turn to spend christmas eve with the murdoch's, we had our family christmas party the sunday night before christmas. we all got together at grandpa and gramma's place and first of all took a family picture, before everything got crazy!

(not too bad for using the self timer on the camera)

then while dinner was being set up, haley took the kids downstairs and they decorated trees to take to papi and grandma ruth's grave.

after dinner, we bundled up and took the trees to the cemetary and sang a few carols.

this is a tradition that grandma ruth started a long time ago and i'm sure she was up there smiling down as this tradition carries on.

we then went to aunt ann's and aunt bonnie's to carol to them and take them a treat.

cheyner got a pup (deetz) the day before, and isley fell in love with him the minute she saw him

when we came back home, the kids opened presents from each other.

not to forget grandpa. haley took a bunch of papi's clothes and made grandpa a lap quilt out of them, for grandpa for christmas.

we love to get together with all of our family and are greatful this christmas season for each one of them and the great addition each one is to our eternal family!
