this is ryker

look at this cute little innocent face...

how in the world could anyone get mad at him?

well, this is ryker in time out.

he had to put his nose against the wall.

(i didn't get a picture of it ~mostly because we were laughing so hard~ but most of the time he had his nose on the wall, he was playing with the knobs on the cabinet)

now this is his dad is talking to him and asking him "why he was in time out".

he has to keep telling him to "look" at his eyes, while he was talking to him, (as the rest of us were falling off our chairs laughing).

all i can say is... like father, like son.

alan and bridgette were married may 5th, and i have not seen alan so, so happy in a long time. i thought he was going to burst with happiness when he saw bridgette's son escort her down the stairs to be by his side. she was a beautiful bride and is a beautiful person.

spring break ~

we had 1 foot of snow!

last sunday we all got together for haley, kendyl, and jeff's birthdays. while we were at it, i decided that we really should color some easter eggs, since we wouldn't all be together on easter. i sent 'papa' to the store on saturday night to get a few things and told him to make sure to get some easter egg coloring. he did a great job, coming home with 'tye dye' egg colors and of course, 'camouflage' egg dye.

now we know that he wasn't going to be the one helping tye dye easter eggs, (nor was any of the male gender), and the camo ones were a little too complicated for these little ones, so we just mixed up the dyes and let the kids color their eggs with solid colors. ~ just to let you know... the camo colors are the camo colors - orange, brown, grey, and you know... ugly! but the kids didn't care and had fun decorating their eggs.

happy birthday kendyl

kendyl is 4 years old today! seems like just yesterday she was a chunky, happy little (drooling) baby. (who would have thought that she would end up being "byu's" number 1 fan?) she is definitely NOT a baby anymore. she sometimes, is more grown up than me! for her birthday, she was bound and determined that she wanted 'papa' and 'gramma' to take her to dinner at the 'arctic circle'. but... with a little persuading from 'papa', she changed her mind (papa called her and told her that he was having a bad day and needed some popcorn from 'wingers' to make him feel better.) she is a little sweetheart. anyway... we ended up first going shopping (kendyl and gramma ~ papa does NOT want anything to do with that part, unless it's cabela's) she wanted to go to 'walmart'. and she was set that that is where she wanted to go... because "they have lots of toys there!" boy what a chore... she had NOT a clue what she wanted... well actually, she wanted EVERYTHING! every corner we turned, she would find something and say "oh, gramma, look at this, isn't it soo beautiful!" she ended up deciding on a baby doll and a 'barbie thumbelina'. then we went to 'kohl's' to get her an outfit. then we went to dinner at 'wingers'. she didn't feel too good, so we didn't end up taking any pictures. so the ones from her family birthday party on sunday will have to do.

we tried to get a picture of 'papa' and 'gramma' with kendyl, but we have a little poser, that snuck in the picture at the last minute. (never a dull moment when siona's around)

so here is a picture of kendyl with 'papa' and 'gramma'. (i would say on her birthday, but she let me know that her "real" birthday isn't until the 7th .)

AND... TODAY IS THE 7TH... SOOOO HAPPY BIRTHDAY KENDYL JO! ("PRINCESS POO POO") WE LOVE YOU TO PIECES!
